Payment Policies
At Social Sparks Coaching, we strive to provide high-quality, individualized support to children and families. Pricing is designed to balance accessibility with the quality and care your child deserves–we are committed to making skill-building support accessible.
Social Sparks Coaching is a self-pay service. We do not accept insurance. All services are out-of-pocket and billed directly to the parent/guardian in advance or at the time of service.
To ensure clarity and consistency, please review our payment policy below:
Payment is due at the time of service or in advance for packaged sessions.
Current rates and package options are outlined in our Services & Rates guide.
We accept payment via cash, Venmo, or check (made out to Social Sparks Coaching).
We understand that unexpected things come up! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full, except in cases of illness or emergency.
If a session is missed without notice, it will be considered a no-show and is non-refundable–the full session fee will be applied if the client does not attend without notice.
We will make every effort to reschedule within the same week when possible.
Social Sparks Coaching is a private-pay, non-clinical service and does not bill insurance.
Services are not diagnostic or therapeutic in nature and are not intended to replace mental health counseling.
Package sessions and all other sessions are non-refundable once the first session has been completed.
Social Sparks Coaching honors the confidentiality of every child and family. All information shared during sessions remains private, with the exception of safety concerns or mandated reporting obligations. Participation requires parent/guardian consent and includes agreement to:
Respect personal boundaries and privacy within sessions
Engage in sessions with mutual respect and collaboration
To foster independence and self-confidence, students are encouraged to participate directly in sessions without parental presence unless otherwise discussed
Social Sparks Coaching provides educational, strengths-based support focused on building social and emotional learning (SEL) skills.
Our services are not clinical therapy and do not diagnose, treat, or provide interventions for mental health conditions. While our sessions are led by a licensed school counselor experienced in child development, they are designed to enhance social emotional skills through proactive, skill building strategies—not to replace therapeutic or psychological care.
